So many sick games. Sparrow, The Stone of Madness, and Permafrost in particular look hype to me, and I didn't know about them. I remember following The Precinct for a while, but I didn't know they had a demo for the fest! I have to check 'em out before the demos are gone.
Sparrow looks very interesting, and I really like the look and idea of Stone of Madness. It's a pity the official screenshots don't really show these games off properly.
Wool at the gates is a hilariously direct rip off of Thronefall. I think it's very likely they saw their dev logs on YouTube and made a similar game. I think it's okay to do this as long as you lean into and say " inspired by" or have fun with it and call it "sheepfall" or something 😂

That's why we got your words! But I know how you feel, sometimes I'll see a picture and ask myself, "Wasn't there a better moment to capture?"
The Precinct is precisely what I was looking for a classic top-down GTA-inspired game! Without the extra launcher to play it.
Yup, I'm looking forward to trying it this weekend! And no overblown Rockstar pricetag.

Yeah, it reminded me of Thronefall too, but I didn't play enough of the latter to make a real comparison. Thanks for the insight!
