It surprised me with what is a basic set of gameplay mechanics, but put together well. I am curious how long the final game will be and how elaborate the puzzles will become.
I am definitely looking forward to checking out The Whims of the Gods.
I've also been excited about Herdling since I first heard (herd?) about it back in March, but that might have to be one I make the Husband play. It looks gorgeous, and seems like it could be a really interesting game, but "An emotional, wordless tale of trust, survival, and companionship" surrounding a bunch of animals I've been expected to "Guide, protect, and fall in love with" sounds very suspiciously like it's going to be a game I'd end up having to process with my therapist.
"Why have I had a rough week? Because it was my job to get the poor innocent giant fluffy goat-monsters to safety, and I failed."
I had that concern looking at the trailer. But the demo feels very cosy and casual. The creatures can get injured, but it's not hard to heal them. Still, no idea what I'll have to do when those giant birds come at them!
Herdling 💙 I can not wait for that full experience. The soundtrack was amazing.

Agreed! I will be happy if its 2+ hours. It feels like it will be a cinematic experience so movie length is good for me ha

That's really good to know. I'll have to at least try the demo, then.
