Play the hero, gather a party, and vanquish evil! Alternatively, just try to survive the horrors of a zombie apocalypse, or delve into dark secrets as you look for your missing brother. Maybe become the leader of a thriving village, explore murky dungeons, take on the forces of a fallen angel, or explore a lost world as a curious android.
October is off to a bang with some amazing titles. Here’s a pick of ten games releasing over the next two weeks.

Grow your medieval village, trade with other settlements, and fight off raiders while your villagers grow up, find a job, learn new things, and complete the circle of life. An interesting deck-building feature adds some spice to your plans.
