It's been a crazy busy time, with Steam Next Fest concluding recently and the number of new games stepping up in pace. I recall reading somewhere that August or September, 2024 already matched the total number of games released on Steam in 2023. Even if that's not true, there is still no slowdown in new titles coming out, and November is not going to be an exception!
Note: Release dates are subject to change.
Albatroz (01 November)
Isla is looking for her lost brother, who went missing while searching for the mysterious Albatroz mountain. But it's going to be a long journey, so be sure to manage your resources in this narrative-driven RPG game. Fortunately, the fantasy world of Albatroz is begging to be explored, brought to life with beautiful art and animation.

Tiny House Simulator (05 November)
The immersive sim genre (or what Second Wind calls Dad Games) keeps proving us wrong by showing that doing a job in a video game can be fun. If you've been aching to run your own tiny house business, building the diminutive domiciles before towing them across the game world, click that wishlist button for Tiny House Simulator.

Trash Goblin (06 November)
One person's trash is a goblin's treasure in this very cute cosy game. Relax while chipping away at blocks covering a special object, then give it a clean before selling it to a line of exotic customers. I covered this demo a while ago, and it's one of AIIG's most popular videos. Hopefully, Trash Goblin will become the big hit it deserves to be.

Planet Coaster 2 (06 November)
It's interesting that rollercoasters were instrumental in creating the tycoon genre (since 1999). On the other hand, building your theme park with wild rides is a great idea for a game, so it's no surprise that this world lives on through the Planet Coaster series, a worthy spiritual successor that looks spectacular.

Death of the Reprobate (07 November)
Full disclosure: Death of the Reprobate made this list before I even knew what this game was about. It just looks so wild, and it also made me look up the word 'Rabelaisian' (which means to have earthy and bawdy humour). This is a point-and-click game from the same people who made the wacky The Procession to Calvary and Four Last Things, using Renaissance artwork to deliver a new suitably crazy adventure.

Tower Factory (07 November)
Games like Shapez and Factorio proved that people want to build ridiculously cat cradles of industrial conveyors, bringing the right elements together in resource optimisation puzzle games. A few games have tried to marry this concept with the tower defence genre, of which Tower Factory looks like a clear winner. Can you manage logistics AND crush your enemies?

ZEPHON (08 November)
Humanity has to try and survive in a ruined world, the wreck of an apocalypse caused by aliens. Your job is to keep that flame alive by combining 4x gameplay and combat with a city builder. ZEPHON comes from a developer who is very skilled in this type of game: build your community, combine a variety of skills across three distinct paths, and battle robots and aliens with over 50 unit types.

Menace from the Deep (11 November)
Menace from the Deep wears its theme on its sleeve: a world steeped in Eldritch horror, expressed through stunning art in an elaborate deck-building combat roguelike. Explore what happened to a mysterious cult that appears to have meddled with the wrong Elder Gods, exploring the game's world, gathering resources for permanent upgrades, and facing the horrors of the unknown while holding onto your frayed sanity. You know, Lovecraft stuff.

The Rise of the Golden Idol (12 November)
Clean your magnifying glass and prepare for twenty new detective cases in The Rise of the Golden Idol. Despite being a sequel to 2022's The Case of the Golden Idol, new players can dive right in and experience this series' bizarre art and lateral puzzles. Follow the clues and come up with your own theories while trying to uncover a grand mystery about an ancient artefact.

Mind Over Magnet (13 November)
The delightful platformer Mind Over Magnet is finally heading for release. Solo developer Mark Brown chronicled the game's journey on his great Substack, crafting a game about a computer trying to escape a dangerous factory with the help of some magnetic friends. Navigate obstacles and logical puzzles by using different magnets. The art is delightful, and the demo was a lot of fun. Bonus point for the fun title.

Temtem: Swarm (13 November)
Temtem: Swarm boldly mixes several genres in a bowl of survivor bullet-heaven mechanics. Enlist creates called Tems to fend off hordes of attackers, mixing auto-combat with timed special attacks. As a Tem evolves, it develops new and powerful attacks, which you can enhance further with the resources you collect. Play solo or with up to four friends and survive the onslaught.

Tricky Madness (15 November)
Three words: SSX. Well, those are letters, or maybe just one word. Regardless, if your ears perked at the name of one of trick snowboarding's most beloved and unhinged games, then you'll like Tricky Madness. Hit the slopes and perform crazy tricks and stunts for the highest score. All that's missing (from the video, at least) are the bombastic words and numbers that jump out as you hit the lights. But this looks like a great successor to the heyday of crazy extreme sports games.
